The typology of a high-rise building is chosen in prder to formulate a landmark for this public building and to integrate it in the city's high-rise landscape. Furthermore, a new public place, that welcoms all neighbors, is planned in front of the hospital's entrance.
Research about different architectonic hospital typologies, including investigations on architectural psychological factors that promote the healing of the patients, were included in the design. The hospital's garden is renewed to form a green oasis in the city's center. In close cooperation with a student of civil engineering, a student of Real Estate and Construction management, the architecture, the stuctural design and the technical building services were planned.
