Growing cabins
An immersion in the creative power of life

Competition, 2023

This living installation, a cabin made of willows planted in the ground, is an invitation to young and old alike to immerse themselves in the living architecture. It's a playful and sensitive way of exploring the diversity of life and the boundaries between the human and the non-human. What is our relationship with the world and its evolution?

Built entirely from living wicker, this architecture has a spatial-temporal organisation and a spatial and temporal significance of its own: it will evolve over time, continuing to form branches, buds, leaves and flowers throughout the life of the tree, leaves and flowers throughout the exhibition.
